How Hot Can It Get? (2023-07-27 - 7:24 a.m.)

Hello....hello.....hello out there. Been up for awhile now. It is 7:27 am here. This morning the sun rising wasn't as red as yesterday's sunrise, which I am thinking is a good thing. Already watered the flower garden for 30 minutes. The bee balm is really blooming now. It looks so beautiful amongst all the orange tiger lilies. I watered the planted pots. I moved them all to a different spot so they don't get too many hours of this torrid hot sun during the day. That was a lot of walking and moving. I only have 4 of these little iron tables, so not all of the pots I planted earlier this Summer get a little table to sit on. They sit right upon Mother Earth.

Randy has thrush. He had a consultation yesterday at oral surgery at the Marshfield Center with a dental specialist and he said Randy has thrush and gave him a presciption for that. Randy is having a tooth extracted in September. Randy said he got thrush because of having to take a week's worth of antibodies for his bad pain of diverticuious. Randy seems to be having some mini health issues lately. I think it is his body telling him that he needs to take better care of himself. I can't do this for him. Thrush feeds on sugar and he eats a lot of sugary foods. I don't, hmmmmmmm. Anyway, he better figure it out. He is always tired and his feet, ankles, knees, hips, and shoulders hurt. I know it is just growing old. We all do. Use it or lose it. Stop mentioning it and deal with it. You don't hear me saying too much how I hurt at times. I may mention it in here once in awhile and that is about all. Enough about Randy, who used to be my fairytale.

I have been watching the barred owl family across the channel. The mom and dad are teaching the owlets how to hunt. The owlets spend a lot of their time hopping around on the ground. I watched an owlet try to fly and land on a limb. That didn't work out to well. I was concerned because the owlet was very close to the edge of the channel. Apparently one of the parents was also concerned because he or she was doing the screeching call to this owlet. The owlet fly down to the ground and hopped over to the parent. All was safe for that time. I sit in a chair on the back patio and watch them with the binoculars. It is just amazing to watch them.

I have to make another batch of gluten-free pasta for myself this morning. I didn't really eat too much yesterday. Gluten-free pasta and some chicken boob today. I must eat more today. I didn't even eat a banana or have a cut up apple yesterday. Oh well.

I don't have much of anything else going on around here. Peace within yourselves. Get out there and find your joy. Peace.
