Ho Hum............... (2008-09-17 - 6:43 a.m.)

I don't have to get ready for work at the usual time this morning, I get 15 minutes extra. I have to be up at Marshfield Clinic at 8:30 am for lab. That is first. I can't wait to drink and eat something. I can't wait to drink a diet pepsi. I miss that the most when I have to fast, though I should be more concerned with the low blood sugar being a diabetic and all. I tested the BS this morning and I was already at 83, so by 8:30 am it will be even lower. The drive should be a challenge with low BS. My BP is good, 129/77, though at the clinic I always feel it going up. I don't like to go to the clinic, but I have to have these appointments. It has been 6 months now since I have seen my specialists. I get to bring all my fecal sample collections. I feel like a little pack rat with my extra bags and all. I just hope my body is doing alright. I have some body concerns I will talk about and see what they think. We know our bodies best, and I am most definitely in tune with mine.

I don't have much else going on for now, I walked Malcolm this morning at 6 something, so the exercise of walking I am sure dropped my blood sugar. Oh yeah, I just have to go with it. I don't understand why a diabetic has to fast, I think it is dangerous. I also have the thyroid issue, and the body temperature changes I have to have evaluated. They always change my thyroid meds because they have to. My body is a mystery but it is more stable then it used to be. At least I don't have to see my cardoligist this time. Those appointments take most of the day. I always bring my knitting while at the clinic.

BB10 is all over. I knew that Dan would win of course. Keesha got the favorite viewer choice and some cash from that. Now next week, "Survivor" will start. I am also watching, "True Blood." I like the show. The interactions and effects are good. It is a different show. Then I liked "Moonlight" and they cancelled that after so many eposides.

Soon I can have some diet pepsi. Soon the wait will be over. The dogs are sleeping in their beds near me. It seems odd to still be writing here, I should be almost ready to leave for work. Another sunny day here is good old central Wisconsin. I so love the crispness in the air. The leaves are really turning now, I think within the next week, around here they will reach their peak of color. Then next month we can start to rake. Pine needles and oak leaves mainly. We have a couple of maples in the yard. Then you will be able to see the road better and the neighbors. That I don't like. The foliage always adds privacy. The person with the two lots to the south of us is doing alot of clear cutting of the low brush in his lot this year. I don't like that. So then that will seem more open. I don't know why people overdo it with the clear cutting. He is an old fart and I am so amazed how much and hard he works. Other than that, this is about it. Ho hum..........
