So yesterday I met with a friend for a visit. We met at Culver's, I had a medium diet pepsi, and she had a salad. It was great to visit with her. We talked for a long time. Then we went to Bath and Body Works and bought each other our Christmas presents. Then we sat down in the Mall and talked some more. The whole time we spent together, I didn't even think about what time it was or anything. I have been worried about my friend, she just began going back to CURVES, so that is good. Her daughter, my age, passed away this year, her youngest daughter is going through a tough divorce. So it was really good to get together for a visit and talk. Now I feel better about her state of mind. She has 24 people coming to her house for Thanksgiving. Oh my!!
So I am thankful to my close friends and having someone to talk to that doesn't judge me ever. They love and like me just the way I am. My close friends know just what to say when I need to hear something positive. They also know when to just listen, because you just need to say some things outloud. You don't need many close friends. A good friend is one who listens to what you are saying, and hears what you really mean with their heart. So I am so very thankful to my close friends and will keep them in my heart forever.
