The water/river crested at 13.9 feet. There was some seepage around the slider into the new basement though nothing major.

Now it is cold here temp wise. Good thing.

Had to have road side assistance come that night and take the tire off. It took the guy almost an hour and a half, he ended up using bottle jack and 2 by 4 against the opposite wheel. Now the tire is patched, it was a nail, and back on the car.

Don't know what else I have been doing for 3 days. Oh I know, I finally showered and washed my hair on Wednesday, so good for another week, unless I throw up or poop all over myself. If that happens hopefully I won't have to wash my hair. I am too funny. Hahahahahahahahaha.

I miss my neighbor across the road. He left at 11:08 am Wednesday morning. He will probably be gone 6-8 weeks. I lean more to the 8 weeks because he always tells me he will be back in 6 weeks which doesn't seem to happen.

Husband works tonight and then this is his weekend off.

I am hoping tomorrow to knit if there is some sunshine which helps to see what I am doing. I usually sit next to a window. I am also reading more, "Niceville." A very captivating read.
