Took down the humming bird feeder yesterday evening. To me that is a sure sign that we are in transition here. My mom and dad said that they had one hummer at their feeders on Sept. 23rd in Northern Minnesota. I haven't seen a hummer at the feeder here since the 27th. So I took the feeder down yesterday. Until next May 1st. It isn't that far away.
