To Olive or Not... (2007-03-03 - 5:58 a.m.)

Hmmmmmmmm, don't know what subject to write about today. I could talk about olives. God, I used to eat olives all the time. Sliced up olives on your peanut butter are so excellent. Maybe I should try and introduce one slice of olive on my peanut butter toast. This week in a span of one day I lost 5 lbs. I just couldn't stay hydrated. So apparently those 5 lbs. are just gone with my one bad hit of diarrhea I had on Thursday night. I drank three Gatorades and two bottles of Dasani throughout Thursday night, and I still wasn't hydrated enough. Remember dehyradtion also lowers your blood pressure big time. Then at work on Friday(yesterday) I drank six more bottles of H2O, I felt like I was floating away. I also couldn't keep my blood sugar up past 100 yesterday even half an hour after eating. Who knows why I get hits of diarrhea, I eat only 12 foods. The specialists say that the food hits somewhere in your recovering colon and just irritates it. I will go with that answer. God, rereading this shit I wrote is so boring, I sound like a whiny old woman here. So enough with that crap(excuse the pun here).

So today, hmmmmmmmmm, I will ponder the olive, but for my sake I will just have to pass on it. I will do a little shoveling because we got I would say another 1-2 inches out there. It looks so damn beautiful, today I will go out and take some pictures. My husband really worked at cleaning out the yard, driveway, and creating his paths to all the birdfeeders. He also went across the road and helped "the guy," he reminds me of a hermit, in a little old house, sometimes he doesn't leave his place for over a week. I suppose I would be the same. Anyhoo, my husband and "the guy across the road" worked together, each having a snow blower ("the guy" had to repair his first, because "the guy's" snowblower is 20 years old), they cleared out the snow there. So my husband was a busy camper. I hope that he took time to make a few snow angels out there, because the snow is perfect for that right now. I plan to go out today and make a few snow angels, just because I can!!

I am starting hat number two for my mom today. Apparently hat number one just was too tight on her head. Now my mom finally e-mailed the measurements around her head and the length of one of her favorite hats. So I hope to get that going today. I know that we should go get groceries, but who the heck cares, if we do or not. Grocery shopping isn't one of my favorite things to do. Other than that, how nice it is to have a Saturday and that your husband has this weekend off.
